Welcome to Buderim

budfallsFollowing on an old tradition of welcoming new settlers to the area, “Welcome to Buderim”
afternoon teas are held every few weeks at the Community Information Centre at the Old Post Office.

This a great way to get together, make new friends and learn about the facilities and organisations available in the area.  New residents can take the opportunity to meet to learn about Buderim and find out how to participate in community life. Wonderful friendships have been formed through these functions.

Free Welcome Package

New and current Buderim residents are encouraged to register and attend an afternoon tea.  You will meet other locals, enjoy
complimentary refreshments and receive a Welcome Package with useful information on the local area.

Local Sunshine Coast Councillors and the State Member of Parliament for Buderim are usually in attendance to answer your questions.  BWMCA committee members can also tell you more about the work the association does in the community.  Whatever your age or interest, you will find something to meet your needs among our more than 60 affiliated organisations, clubs and associations.
