Buderim Safe

BUDERIM SAFE

an initiative of the local Buderim Police Beat

Community Safety is about working together to improve public spaces, so that residents and visitors to Buderim can feel safe when they go about their daily lives. Buderim residents can continue to enjoy this sense of safety, thanks to a collaborative approach between local council, police and community. Community and business members of Buderim meet regularly to discuss community safety in Buderim.

Buderim Safe recognises that Buderim is a safe place to live and conduct business. However, a local-based action plan is warranted to ensure that this is always the case.

Committee representation includes: Buderim War Memorial Community Association, Buderim Chamber of Commerce, Sunshine Coast Councillors, Buderim Tavern, Youth representatives, Buderim Mountain Primary School, local Churches, Buderim Marketplace Centre Management, Liquor licensing, Media, Sunshine Coast University, Neighbourhood Watch, Queensland Transport, and Local police.

Several initiatives are underway thanks to the Buderim Safe Organisation. Information and documentation that you can download for these is listed
