Join the BWMCA
The BWMCA is a not-for-profit community organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for the residents of Buderim. The association conducts community events on occasions such as Australia Day and Anzac Day and operates a community information centre in the Old Buderim Post Office in the main street of Buderim. It also owns and manages a number of community facilities such as the Buderim War Memorial Hall, which is the main entertainment venue in Buderim, the Old Post Office and Pioneer Cottage.
The BWMCA is comprised totally of volunteers – there are no paid committee members or officers. As with any organisation that relies on volunteers, there is always room for more helpers and supporters.
Any resident of Buderim in any age group can join the association. We even have a number of members who live outside the area.
