Creating a web site, worthy of Buderim
Designing and operating a web site with real value to our community is one of the core objectives, pursued from the earliest of days by the local family who developed the original site at www.buderim.com.
The entire web site including the intellectual property, gathered data and sophisticated technology, web hosting was donated along with the new layout, to the community in 2011 by Steve and Karen Chellingworth. The Chellingworths are a local Buderim family, actively involved in volunteer business and community organisations and quite frankly can’t get enough of the place or the people.
They operate Red Lid, a successful advertising and design business in the heart of Buderim and act now in cooperation with the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA) Advisory Committee as overseers and technical advisers.
Now the site is operated by the BWMCA, at the Community Geographic Domain Names (CGDN) url of buderim.qld.au.
The internet future is wide open with video and enhanced interactivity, although we have been around for less than a decade, we see our work as a significant addition to the community infrastructure and as such share in a proud history, over 150 years in the making!
The Buderim web site is a living project, designed to serve the needs of all Buderim’s community. The BWMCA are proud custodians of this important work.
Buderim’s web site has always thrived on your input, so please, if you have any suggestions or would like to make comment, please feel free to contact us using the form on the “contact” page.
